Sizing
Vintage clothing often doesn’t state it’s size, and many of our garments are sourced from around the world so sometimes they have European or USA sizes. So, to make it as easy as possible we provide you with the actual measurements of each garment, and an estimated UK size. Please note that the estimated UK size is just that, an estimate. If you are unsure about measurements, the easiest thing to do is to compare the measurements with an item you already own that fits you well.

Here’s how we take our measurements: All garments are measured laying flat.

Waist: This is taken around the smallest part of the waist
Bust: Measured from armpit to armpit
Shoulder: Seam to seam
Hip: Around the widest part of the hips Inside
Leg: From the hem to the crouch
Sleeve: Armpit to the cuff

Length
Dress with straps: Top of the straps to the hem
All other dresses: Top of the back of the dress to the hem
Skirts: Top of waistband to the hem
Jackets: Top of the back of the jacket to the bottom

Condition
All vintage clothing is at least 20 years old, many pieces we stock are even older so please expect a little natural wear, but we think this just adds charm. We check each item very carefully and we aim to sell everything in pristine condition, however sometimes items will have flaws, but we will describe these in as much detail as possible.

We also sell brand new items by emerging designers, these items are unworn and in pristine condition.
